Sauvignon Monferrato Bianco, l'Armangia

A great Sauvignon, a great white wine fermented on its own lees.

Named Enne Enne, "Figlio di ennenne" in Italian means "child of an unnamed person", because of the often bizarre Italian wine appellation system, this Monferrato DOC, an appellation that doesn’t allow the winemaker to mention the grape on the label, is a great white wine .

The Italian appellation system doesn’t make life easy for wine lovers, there are plenty of Monferrato Bianco DOC wines, each one made using different grapes, all having the same name on the label but completely different wines and this is a very unique wine.

Made with Sauvignon grapes from a single vineyard located near the producer winery, on a hill, once the grapes are harvested and pressed the wine sits on its lees for 3-4 months at a temperature of 4-6°C producing a completely different Sauvignon.

This Sauvignon has a richer and more complex nose, soft and full on the palate, elegant, with a long persistence, a white wine that pairs beautifully rich dishes and it represents an alternative to medium-bodied red wines.
