A blend of Merlot and Refosco del Peduncolo rosso fermented and aged in small oak barrels. Rosso Scuro, dark red in Italian, is a red wine with an intense ruby colour and a nose that shows aromas of red fruits and spices with underlying hints of vanilla. Full bodied, in the mouth is structured, well balanced, velvety and persistent.

The Rosso Scuro is a great Bordeaux blend wine, where the international Merlot grape is blended to the Friuli native Refosco del Peduncolo Rosso grape for a great wine.

This red wine has won plenty of international and Italian awards, including the coveted 3 glasses from the Gambero Rosso.
