Made with montepulciano handpicked, organically grown, grapes, from an old vineyard along the Adriatic coast, with a very low yield, this Montepulciano d’Abruzzo has been aged for 16 months in new French barrels, split into two periods of 8 months each.
The result is a very complex Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, with a fruity nose and hints of vanilla, a full bodied, smooth palate with a very long finish.
Perfect with red meat or mature cheeses, this Montepulciano d’Abruzzo needs to be decanted before being served.
