Made with Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes grown on the Abruzzo hills facing the Adriatic sea, from relatively old vines, this is a young red wine, lively, with plenty of fruit and crunchy tannins, the perfect example of pure, unaged, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.
It goes well with a lot of dishes of the mediterranean diet and Abruzzo cuisine, from pizza to pasta, to lasagne.
