Made from grapes grown in the heart of the Valpolicella area, the "classico" area, hence the mention on the label, from a single vineyard, “le Quare”, located at about 400m above sea level, this Amarone della Valpolicella Classico does not have the same elegance than its brother, the Campedel, however, is bigger, fruiter, bolder, smoother, to be drunk now or to keep in the cellar for a few more years.
This Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a great red wine with depth and structure, a wine that pairs beautifully game, braised meat, and aged cheeses, as well as being a meditation wine, a wine to be enjoyed on its own.
